Rachael's work was first recognized at five when her artwork was selected for her K-8 school’s 20th anniversary commemorative t-shirt. Soon after, she began selling painted rocks in the neighborhood.
At ten, her artwork was chosen by the University of Washington Bookstore to be featured in their annual calendar. Her nineteenth summer, art took her to Italy where she enjoyed living and painting in Florence. After returning to Seattle, she became an apprentice for a local artist and was tasked with stretching and treating canvases. Rachael has been a full-time working artist since 2014 when she took a risk and quit her day job. Now, she splits her time between running her small art business from a daystall at Pike Place Market, painting commissions and filling orders. EDUCATION
